Maeker’s Sausage
WHO THEY ARE
Maeker's Sausage & Processing started out as a family-run grocery store in Shiner, Texas in 1967. They began experimenting with smoked sausage and due to high demand they opened Shiner's first state meat plant in 1972. Today you'll find their sausage in H-E-B, Wal-Mart, Brookshire Brothers and more throughout the state of Texas.
PROJECT OVERVIEW
In late 2015 Maeker’s was sold by the original owners to a new Shiner-native family. Under new ownership, they approached Left Hand Design to give their sausage package design a complete revamp. With dozens of products and a long history they needed something that was going to stand the test of time while paying homage to it’s foundation.
