Maeker’s Sausage & Processing started out as a family-run grocery store in Shiner, Texas in 1967. They began experimenting with smoked sausage and due to high demand they opened Shiner’s first state meat plant in 1972. Today you’ll find their sausage in H-E-B, Wal-Mart, Brookshire Brothers and more throughout the state of Texas.
In late 2015 Maeker’s was sold by the original owners to a new Shiner-native family. Under new ownership, they approached Left Hand Design to give their sausage package design a complete revamp. With dozens of products and a long history they needed something that was going to stand the test of time while paying homage to it’s foundation.
Maeker’s Sausage has been smoking small-batch links in Shiner, Texas since 1967, using time-tested recipes and hickory smoke for bold, authentic flavor in every bite. This refreshed packaging system keeps that heritage front and center while standing out in busy grocery coolers across Texas.
