Beaumont Sausage & Boudin Co. specializes in selling a variety of packaged sausage at several grocery store locations throughout Texas.
Beaumont Sausage & Boudin Co. approached us for a branding overhaul for their business of over 10 years. Starting with the logo, they needed something fresher and more TEXAS. Once the logos and style guide was set, we honed in on their packaging to round out the beginning of their sausage brand design.
Beaumont Sausage & Boudin Co. had only one logo version for everything when they came to us and it was very dated, it just wasn’t working for them anymore. They specialize in cajun sausages, so their old branding was a little too “Louisiana” feeling for a Texas company. We updated their overall look with something a bit more Texas, and gave them enough versions to be flexible in their branding as they continue to grow.
Sausage brands typically have several different size packages for their products. It’s important to know what we’re working with before we start on design so we make sure to ask all the right questions in the beginning. It’s also important to know which stores they’re going in, and what competitor products they sit next to regularly so we can be sure to stand apart from them. There’s a lot that goes into each and every packaging project we touch, and this was all part of the sausage brand design for Beaumont Sausage & Boudin Co.
