High Culture Brewing

Who They Are

High Culture Brewing is a kombucha company located in Vermont. They bring high quality and unique kombucha blends to the consumer market in both single batch and double batch varieties. The single batch are your more common kombuchas, with all the health benefits, while the double batch kombuchas are brewed at a higher abv for those looking for a nice drink alternative to your standard cocktails.

Project Overview

High Culture Brewing came to us in need of branding to launch their line of amazing product offerings. With the amount of work and research put into creating perfect flavors, they needed a kombucha logo design that would effectively compete in their market and accurately represent the quality of products they offer. We stepped in and developed a responsive logo set that allows limitless applications as they grow. In a crowded shelf space, we created kombucha package designs for single batch and double batch products that separate themselves from the competition. As a starting point to grow on the web, we designed a teaser Squarespace website that provides just enough info for the consumer to gauge interest, but will eventually grow into a lifestyle brand with beautiful imagery and a story to tell. A complete brand identity and digital presence built from the ground up.

We designed a versatile logo system featuring stacked and horizontal versions, along with seals and icons that reinforce the brand identity. All elements were optimized for black-and-white use, ensuring the logo remains bold, legible, and instantly recognizable

Package design begins with research and planning. It must be effective in the space on the shelf, and approachable to its target audience.

The yin and yang of single batch versus double batch hits two different audiences. The single batch targets the health-conscious, while the double batch targets the party-goers. Our challenge was taking two products under one brand, make them cohesive, but appeal to different audiences. Our client is very pleased with the end product, and the marketing possibilities between the contrasting products is just beginning.
