Whale Shark Media (now RetailMeNot) was the world’s leading online marketplace for coupons and deals, connecting millions of shoppers with savings across a highly competitive digital landscape. Built on scale, reach, and trust, the brand quickly positioned itself as a dominant force in online commerce.

Project Overview

We were brought in to create a distinctive brand identity inspired by the whale shark—the largest fish in the world. The resulting logo and visual direction emphasized size, confidence, and market leadership. This foundational identity helped Whale Shark Media stand out in a crowded space and supported its rapid growth, ultimately contributing to its evolution into RetailMeNot and its position as the biggest fish in the pond.

Branded stationery and office items for Whale Shark Media, including a white mug, pens, pencils, business cards, folder, CD, and binder clips, all featuring a blue and white color scheme with the company’s wave and whale-tail inspired logo. The layout presents a cohesive and professional visual identity for the media company.
