2.) Intro Call

Paul will set up an intro call with you to collect information on your project, discuss timelines, budget, etc.

3.) Fill Out Creative Brief

This is where the stars start aligning. Once your timeline and budget are locked in, it’s time for a deeper dive into your brand. We’ll send over our 32-question creative brief—a targeted roadmap that helps us get under the hood of your business, your customers, your competition, and the vision that’s going to set you apart in the market.

4.) In-Person/Video Meeting

This is the meeting of teams for everyone involved. We dive into the brief and discuss any unanswered questions. At this point we set a delivery timeline and set payment terms.

5.) Creative Process

This is where we cut the brakes and get to work. You’ll receive a curated set of concepts, detailed designer notes, and real-world mockups to show you how the brand actually lives. From there, we’ll deliver, gather your feedback, and refine the details until the new face of your company is officially born. We typically save the color exploration for the finish line to make sure the foundation is rock solid first.

6.) Final Assets

Time to fly the coop and put your new designs to work. We’ll hand over a complete kit of logo assets in every format you’ll ever need, ensuring your brand stays sharp across any application—from a digital profile to a massive storefront sign. If your package includes a style guide, we’ll deliver that as well to keep your branding locked in and consistent across the board.

7.) Beyond the Finish Line

For most, the logo is just the starting point. Once the mark is set, we can dive into everything else you need to scale—from print and web assets to full website builds, packaging, and environmental graphics. We pack a serious punch for a small team, and we hang our hat on that.

Logo design is our jam.

What Buyers Usually Need To Know

How much does logo design cost?

Pricing depends on scope. A simple logo project is different from a full identity system with brand guide, packaging, website, signage, menus, apparel, or launch assets. Share your goals, timeline, and expected deliverables so the quote matches the real work.

Timing depends on decision speed, number of stakeholders, and how many deliverables are included. Most serious logo work should allow time for discovery, concept development, revisions, final file prep, and any brand guide or production assets.

Revision rounds should be defined in the proposal. The useful version is not unlimited changes; it is clear rounds of feedback focused on the strongest direction, with extra work scoped if the project changes.

Ownership and usage rights for the final selected logo should be confirmed in the agreement before work starts. Unused concepts, alternate directions, and source materials are separate unless the contract says otherwise.

Final delivery can include vector logo files, PNGs, SVGs, color versions, one-color versions, horizontal and stacked lockups, social/web assets, print-ready files, and brand guide materials depending on scope.

Yes. Logo projects can connect into websites, packaging, signage, apparel, environmental design, print collateral, menus, style guides, and campaign materials.

No. Left Hand Design is Austin-based and works with Austin-area, Texas, and nationwide clients through a remote-friendly logo and branding process.

Review the examples above and the logos and branding work filter. If there is no exact match, the better question is whether the process can uncover the right buyer, offer, tone, and usage needs for your market.

Send your current logo if you have one, examples you like and dislike, notes on your audience, competitors, timeline, budget range, decision makers, and every place the logo must appear.
